Dow Fails to close above all time high as Nasdaq leads stocks higher

Stocks moved higher today on lighter volume. S&P 600 was slightly lower for the day, finishing -.16%. Nasdaq finshed as the leading index gaining more than .29% followed by the Dow .25% and S&P 500 .19%.

Markets take a step back, taking a deap breathe

Markets paused, digesting gains from the prior two days.  Nasdaq squeaked out a slight gain.  Volume slid across the board.  From the commodity front, Natural Gas closed below 5 dollars following suit light sweet crude fell to 63.22.
