NASDAQ enjoys price gains with volume

Stocks advanced on strong volume, most likely due to falling oil prices and more merger news.

Stocks picked up where they left off last Friday, catching a bid on another round of M&A activity.
Regardless of the reasoning, all we know is that price and volume moved in tandem today. The market showing a bit of accumulation from Thursday’s downturn.
There is still a sentiment in the market place to be calling a top.
Looks like we’ll be hearing about the Shanghai index after the Chinese Government raised taxes on trades. I hardly doubt that this will start anything serious to the downside. Although, it may call into question the rise in prices but hardly going to destroy the manic mentality over there.
If we sell off in the morning, we should be paying attention to see if the selling accelerates or if we get some support.
