As Bears rejoice in victory, are we ready to “Sell in May” and go away?

Indexes across the board endured brutal selling pressure today with volume increasing. The NASDAQ composite taking another direct hit logged its 6th distribution day in 4 weeks. As the bears stick this feather in their cap is it possible we are just taking a breather only to go higher?

Mr. Greenspan speaks irrational exhuberance in China sends Stocks lower

What could have ended as another low volume rally ended with a distribution day for the NASDAQ. While many believe that, like me that China could crack any day. But, it could go longer at this point it is anyboday’s guess.

More divergence but positive gains for the NASDAQ

Nice price action for the S&P 600 and the NASDAQ while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average finished flat. It seems the NASDAQ and Dow are not able to coordinate gains together creating a troubling divergence. But, fear not this can keep on going!

Stock euphoria continues!
We certainly have moved into a different stage in this market. Whether it be the last leg of a bull or the beginning of the next best thing we’ll have to wait and see. But, there have been a few interesting things in the market that have been quite alarming.

Market generating nice gains at this point.

Volume looks to be lagging a bit but we can not ignore the follow through gains from Friday.
TSL bouncing off its 50dma, JASO doing the same thing.
