Stocks Eye Recent Lows

6:15amEST Stocks are set to react to bearish news from INTC and the release of the CPI.
Yesterday’s trade once again reiterates where the path of least resistance lies. There is not question with the VIX and VXN not pricing in any fear that the market continues to search for a bottom. We have not found it yet, it won’t be until fear creeps back into the market. Look for the CPI to spark some interest this morning while more earnings news is released.
I am going to be waiting for a follow-through day to begin operating on the long side. Unfortunately, at the moment I do not see that follow-through, confirmation rally day any time soon. Too much downside volume and price action to suggest we’d get one sooner.
