Markets Look to Drift
6:37am EST Futures are set to open flat, Markets continue to consolidate recent gains of the most recent lows.
Stocks continue to look for a direction to run. Currently the market is taking a breather and consolidating its current run off its lows. Lack of leadership and lack of max fear in the markets its highly probable that we continue to see more downside pressure. Unlike on August 16th we have not had max fear set into the markets. We have come close but we did not reach a point where max fear actually took place.
The theme today is the “lack of” in this market. One major hurdle for this market to clear is the lack of accumulation by large institutions. Mom and Pop and the rest of the retail crowd will not be able to support the markets at these levels. At some point, it becomes judgement time for the market. In times of lack of leadership, lack of accumulations, and uncertainty its best to stay on the sidelines accumulating capital to pounce on future opportunities.
