This market desperate is trying to find its footing and regain an upward trend. However, yesterday’s action shows what the underlying conditions are really showing. There are too many issues regarding the market technically: the “Lack Ofs.” Lack of Leadership and Lack of Accumulation is what is ailing this market. Yesterday’s sell off at the end of the day shows that in order to hold gains we need leadership and accumulation.
Warren Buffet or any other Billion Dollar investor can not save this market. Buffet, a smart move by him was going after the heart of the monoline business. However, this only benefits Buffet and not the monolines. In order for these monolines to turn around is to hedge out its risk regarding the asset backed, CDO, CMO, and CMBS exposure.
