Theme remains, Low Volume but Holding Gains

The March jobs report showed a loss of 80,000 jobs, a number that was much worse than what Wall Street was hoping for. That didn’t stop some buyers, who took the NASDAQ higher by more than 1% during the intraday action. Volume throughout the day was tracking lower across the board. It continues to show the big institutional buyers are unwilling to step into the arena just yet. At some point we’ll reach an inflection point, the big boys will step up to the plate and push this thing one way or another.

There could be hundreds if not thousands of reasons why big institutions are unwilling to place large bets. We are coming off one of the worse quarters the market has seen in a long time.  We do have an election coming up, the market could simply discounting another close race.  Whatever the reason, the beauty of the way I approach this market is that IT DOESN’T MATTER.  I could care less I just need to know when they do start showing up what they end up doing.

There is no sense burning up your capital in this market.  Preserve your capital and wait for when the next bull appears.
